But one risk Scott refuses to take is getting influenza – he gets himself and his family vaccinated every year. Vaccination is safe and effective, and the best way to help prevent influenza and its complications.1
Scott knows that protecting his fellow Sacramento area residents should go above and beyond enforcing the law, so he has joined the American Lung Association’s Faces of Influenza educational initiative to encourage everyone in his community to get vaccinated against this potentially deadly disease.
